The form ebi contracted from *ebiji looks identical to the disjunction ebi.
The instance at TL 84.7, in which it forms a constituent with qla and surezi, could be nom. sg. instead, i.e. the subject of the verb sm̃mati, although a dative/locative singular dependent on pddẽ is also possible and given preference here; cf. N 320.37-39.

1.1.3Meaning
Torp 1901b:5 suggests on contextual grounds that ebi(je)- means ‘(Germ.) hier befindlich, hiesig / (Engl.) (of) here, local’, which was subsequently adopted by many scholars (Laroche 1960a:182, Laroche 1979c:75, Bryce 1986a:77, Melchert in DLL:12, Hajnal 1995a:138, Eichner 2005a:32 n. 170, Neumann 2007a:49, Gehrisch 2018a:129f., Christiansen 2020a:214 “of this”; contra Schürr 1998a:150 and Schürr 2016a:761, 769).

1.1.4Stem
Only Melchert (DLL:12) properly recognizes the adjectival formation in -i(je)- derived from the demonstrative pronoun ebe- ‘this here’ (cf. Laroche 1960a:182 and Eichner 2005a:32 n. 170, who compare Hitt. apiya ‘back then, there’).
