1.1.3Graphic Features
For the reading, see Neumann 1979a:50-52 (tentatively followed by Melchert (DLL:10), Sasseville 2021a:305). Differently, Carruba 1979b:93 reads ạṛawu, which is not persuasive, as it does not provide any sense for the context.

1.1.4Meaning
On contextual grounds, Neumann 1979a:50-52 assigns the meaning ‘to give’ to the verb dda-, which takes the dedicated silver bowl as direct object and a personal name as indirect object, i.e. the beneficent (followed by Melchert (DLL:10) and Sasseville 2018a:310 (and Sasseville 2021a:305), who adduces further evidence from the Lycian B verb da-(di)).
[D.S.]
1.1.5Stem
The verb dda- is the reduplicated form of da-(di) ‘to give’, just like ta-(di) ‘to put’ and tta-(di) ‘id.’.
