Christiansen 2012a:146 leaves the interpretation of this word open, but points out that it could be formally interpreted either as a noun, a verb or a particle chain ñne=ti. A verbal interpretation is appealing considering the possible cognate ñnaza-, which would represent an agent noun in -aza- to a verb ñne-. Nevertheless, contextual evidence is missing.
