‘(unknown)’1.1.1Transmission

1.1.2Forms
| acc. sg. c. or adv. (?) | sạrṭecν | LW 62.5 (Middle Kaystros) |
It remains open whether it should be taken as the acc. sg. of a stem in -c(i)- (as in tac(i)-) or an adverbial form in -cν; cf. muršecν, qardoλcν, kastaλc(i)-.

1.1.3Graphic Features
The word was read as sạrṣecν by Gusmani 1975a:267 (and Gusmani 1980a:94), whereas Heubeck 1980a:52 dismisses the reading of the fourth letter and suggests instead t or τ. Poetto 2006a:1376f. provides a new collation of the inscription and argues for the reading with ṭ, followed by Euler & Sasseville 2019a:138 as well as here.
