| nom./acc. pl. or coll. | zzatija | TL 29.7 (Tlos) |
| gen. pl. (?) | zzatijẽ | TL 29.5 (Tlos) |
The form zzatijẽ is taken here as genitive plural instead of nom./acc. sg., which makes hlm̃mi the direct object; cf. Hajnal 1995a:210 n. 244.

1.1.3Meaning
As correctly analyzed by Melchert (DLL:88), zzatije- is a cognate of zata- ‘delivery’ and the verb za-(ti) ‘to give as a share’. More precisely, it can be derived from the reduplicated formation, which is found only in Lyc. B zaza-(ti) ‘to dedicate’. From the base *zzata-, an adjective in -i(je)- was derived and then substantivized. In the context, zzatije- refers to post-war dedications or amendments vis-à-vis certain people. Melchert (DLL:88) assigns the meaning ‘pertaining to tribute, offering’, Gehrisch 2018a:39 also advocates for ‘tribute’, although ‘share of offerings (or spoils)’ is contextually more adequate.
