| acc. sg. | irẽnν | LW 15.6 (Sardis) | |
| dat. sg. | irẽl/λ? | LW 44a.4 (Manisa) |
1.1.3Graphic Features
Buckler 1924a:62 and Gusmani 1964a:134 (and Gusmani 1980a:178) read irẽl, whereas Melchert 2001e reads irẽλ instead (followed by Sasseville 2017a:136). A new collation of the inscription is necessary to clarify the situation. Despite the choice of the reading, the grammatical assignment is not affected, since λ can lose its palatalization after -n-, e.g. qλdãnl for expected *qλdãnλ (on the apparent incompatibility of Lydian -n- and -λ- see Kloekhorst 2012a:166 n. 5 and Sasseville 2017a:136).

1.1.4Meaning
The context in which the words irẽnν and irẽl (or irẽλ ?) are found is obscure and fragmentary. No meaning can be offered; cf. Gusmani 1964a:134.
