Pace [4521] Lebrun 1990a:162, zxxazi(je)- cannot be a derivative in *-ti̯o- w/ i-mutation, because the dative/locative plural would be -ze and not -zije. Therefore, it must be analyzed as an adjective in -i(je)- (< *-i̯o- w/ i-mutation) derived from the substantive zxxaza- c. ‘warrior’.
