Gusmani 1964a:124 suggests restoring fẽlla(ν), in order to get an agreement with trfãν. This is certainly possible, but not cogent. If one takes trfãν as an adposition, fẽlla=k=in can be of any gender, i.e. either nom./acc. pl. n. or acc. sg. c. More evidence would be welcome.

1.1.3Meaning
No meaning has been suggested (cf. Meriggi 1935a:99, Carruba 1960a:39, Gusmani 1964a:124). If it is the direct object of tamν ‘I built’, it surely refers to some kind of structure pertaining to a funerary stele.

1.1.4Stem
As pointed out by Melchert 1994a:354, 372, the geminate -ll- should reflect a recent assimilation. In this case, we could assume a pre-form fẽn-la- with assimilation of -nl- > -ll-. If fẽn- consists of the preverbs fa- and ẽn-, the lexeme would be la- (cf. Lyd. lẽν) and represent a noun derived from a verb.
