The word lẽν could be an accusative singular common gender, a dative/genitive plural, or a postposition in a frozen case; see below.

1.1.3Meaning

The meaning of the word lẽν is unclear, although it occurs twice in the phrase wνišλ lẽν. Yakubovich 2017b:279 suggests tentatively a postposition governing the preceding word, which is plausible but difficult to prove without more data. For a summary of outdated and untenable hypotheses, see Gusmani 1964a:160f. with further literature. One should also compare Lyc. B lẽ.
