1.1.3.1Phonological Interpretation
Although it is attested just once in HLuw., the phonological interpretation of this lexeme appears certain. It is cognate with the word family around CLuw. nanuntarri(ya)- ‘concerning the present’ (cf. Starke 1990a:367f.) and Hittite nuntarriye/a-(mi) ‘to hurry, hasten’ (see CHD L-N:473). The verb Lyc. B nuni-(ti) ‘to make swift’ represents a further cognate (see Sasseville 2021a:161).

1.1.4Meaning
Because of the clear etymological connection to the word family around CLuw. nanuntarri(ya)- ‘concerning the present’ and the Hittite verb nuntarriye/a-(mi) ‘to hurry, hasten’, the meaning is assigned immediately without further comment by Akdoğan & Hawkins 2010a:4, 8. The relevant context at KIRŞEHİR, §15 reads: á-mu-u-wa/i-a NEG2 nu-tara/i-wa/i, approx. /ammu=wa na nuntarriwi/, meaning ‘(Also, Sakwasani is at your place), and I myself will not hurry’ (cf. Akdoğan & Hawkins 2010a:4, 8).
[AH.B.]
1.1.5Stem
The verb likely belongs to the stems in /-i-(ti)/, and Sasseville 2021a:161 considers it to derive from the unattested adjective */nuntarra/i-/ ‘urgent’.
