1.1.3.1Phonological Interpretation
The phonological interpretation of this word is provisional. The spelling attested at KARKAMIŠ stone bowl, §3 does not leave much leeway, only the medial fricative may be non-geminate, i.e. /taha/.
If the word should turn out to be related to the family around /ta-(i)/ ‘to stand’ (that possibility is mentioned by Hawkins 2000a:140), it is noticeably spelt without the logogram CRUS (sign *82) otherwise ubiquitous with words from that group.

1.1.4Meaning
The meaning of this word is to be taken as tentative, cf. the remarks by Hawkins 2000a:140, who cautiously points to a possible link with the verb /ta-(i)/ ‘to stand’, but refrains from assigning a part of speech even. The context at KARKAMIŠ stone bowl, §3 suggests it to be a noun, however: za-ti-˹pa/ha˺-wa/i ta-ha (PONERE)tu-wa/i-ha, approx. /zatti=ba?/ha?=wa tahha tuwahha/, translating as ‘(This libation vessel I, Yarrari, purified by Kubaba’s and Karhuha’s command …) Also/And? I put (it) to/for/on (?) this stand/altar (?)’ (cf. Hawkins 2000a:139, Giusfredi 2020b:36).

1.1.5Stem
While the grammatical gender of the noun remains unclear, its only attested form shows it to be an a-stem with the dat./loc. sg. ending in /-a/, cf. e.g. Yakubovich 2015b:6.2.
