1.1.3Meaning
The noun fẽtwinte- is found in a fragmentary context, in which the asturko- is the subject. No semantic assignment is suggested in Gusmani 1964a:127. Its meaning depends on the semantics of fẽtwinta-, which are in turn dependent on those of winta-, translated here as ‘bed camp/chamber (?)’. If the denominative verb means ‘to make/place (sth.) (into) a bed chamber’, fẽtwinte- would refer to the action of either making something into a bed chamber or placing something (or someone) in a bed chamber.

1.1.4Stem
As pointed out by Gusmani 1964a:127, fẽtwinte- is a nominal derivation from the verb fẽtwinta-. On the origin of Lydian nominal stems in -e- c. and their relation to a-stems, see Sasseville 2021a:206f., 213f.
