There is possibly another example in me=uwe (e)seriqẹ[.] (TL 29.16), although the fragmentary context prevents any certainty. Schürr 2001e:136 and DLL:57 take seriqe- as a full word, which is unprovable. Neumann 2007a:320 leaves it open.

1.1.3Meaning
The preverb eseri occurs twice with the verb ta-(di) ‘to place, lay down’ and once with hha-(ti) ‘to release’. The meaning of the latter changes with the preverb eseri from ‘to release’ to ‘to defer’. In TL 6, it does not seem to change the meaning of the verb, since the same sense is meant as in the other parallel constructions, where the preverb n͂tepi ‘inside’ is used instead, wherefore eseri is left untranslated by Christiansen 2020a:181. However, Gusmani 1962a:168 claims that eseri ta-(di) in this case means ‘to take away’, which is not convincing, because of the semantics of ta-(di), although the meaning ‘to displace’ would be more appropriate. It has been suggested that eseri is the product of the univerbation of the preverbs ese and eri (Gusmani 1962a:168 n. 31, Laroche 1979c:76, Melchert 1999c:75). DLL:18 assigns to the preverb eseri the sense ‘away (vel sim.)’ based on comparison to Lyc. eri and Hitt. arḫa ‘away’; see under Lyc. A eri.
