This lexeme is found in the inscription of the inscribed pillar of Xanthos, dated contextually to shortly after the ascension of Artaxerxes II in 405-404 BCE and stylistically to around 400 BCE (Borchhardt & Eichner 1997-1999a:19f.).

Despite the fragmentary context, a verbal form is more likely than an accusative singular noun (thus DLL:88, pace Meriggi 1978c:263, Neumann 2007a:431), especially if the segment mẽ before is to be read as m(e)=ẽ (thus Gehrisch 2018a:61).
