1.1.2Forms
| unclear | mesijas | TL 29.12 (Tlos) |
It is difficult to interpret this word; it might be a complete word in the acc. pl. (DLL:39) or a nominative singular in -as- (for these s-stems, see lately Schürr 2017-2018a). Furthermore, one could separate me=sijas and take sijas as a substantive, but a separation as me=s(e)=ijas as per Gehrisch 2018a:39 is not possible, because there is no enclitic **=se and the (proclitic) sentence introductory particle se appears in complementary distribution with me.

1.1.3Meaning
The sequence mesijas appears after se=trm͂misñ xalte ‘he ruled over Lycia’. The rest of the sentence is not well preserved, so that any interpretation regarding mesijas must be considered highly tentative.
