1.1.3Meaning
The verb šisiro-(d) does not have any obvious cognates, although it resembles a reduplicated formation. Based on the context, in which the potential offender is the direct object, Gusmani 1964a:196 suggests the meaning ‘to requite’. However, this is entirely speculative. Since other words of the sentence are semantically obscure, the meaning is better left open.
