1.1.3Meaning
The context in which famrašidν is attested is obscure. It takes two indirect objects in the dative case, i.e. qiraλ ẽnwνatoλ=k ‘to the property and to the ẽnwνatos’. The stem mraši- is interpreted as a formation in -ši- to a verb mra-. The root mr- can be etymologically connected with that of Lyc. mar-(ti) ‘to order’. A verb of speaking would be possible within the context, but cannot be proven at this point.
