‘(unknown)’1.1.1Transmission
This lexeme is found in the festival for the Palaic pantheon. However, the language of the passage where the word is found could be either Palaic or Hittite and therefore, the attribution of this word to the Palaic language must be considered provisional.

| unknown | ˹i˺-la-a-li-ia-d[a/it(-) | KUB 35.166 + KBo 19.154 17’ | (CTH 751, MS?) |
This word was categorized by Carruba 1970a:57 as a form of the divine name of the dilaliyanteš. Considering the last sign, which was not translated by Carrruba (ibid.), but is still visible on the photo in the Konkordanz, one can read either -d[a(-) or -i[t(-). If it were -da, a possible result is an action noun *ilāliyada-. Reading the sign -it would render a 3rd sg. pret. Hittite verbal form *ilāliyait. The two options should be left open until further evidence emerges.

1.1.3Meaning
The fragmentary word ilāliya-x- is obviously related to Pal. ila- ‘passion’ and Hitt. ilāliye/a-(mi) ‘to desire’. The passage occurs immediately after some body parts of sacrificial animals have been shown to the Ilāliyanteš-deities. Within the same sentence as ilāliya-x-, the Tabarna and Tawananna are mentioned as subjects. Thus, the semantics of the word are secured, but its lexical category is not (see above).
