This lexeme is found once in the poetical inscription engraved on the lion sarcophagus of Antiphellos, dated on stylistic grounds to the beginning of the 4th century BCE. (Zahle 1979a:318, Mühlbauer 2007a:91).

1.1.3Meaning
The verb lelixa is found in an obscure context. Schürr 2005a:142 connects it to Lyc. B lele/i- ‘speech’ and assume a verb of speaking. Differently, Shevoroshkin 1979a:182 n. 11 compares lelixa with Hitt. lā(i)-(mi) ‘to release’ and translates lelixa… xlusã as ‘I solved the argument’ (followed by DLL:119). However, the comparative data are morphologically incompatible. Moreover, if lelixa was a reduplication of a root verb, it would not belong to the stem class of verbs in -i-(ti). It is also important to point out that, in its context, the verb lelixa is negated, i.e. ne lelixa ‘I did not leli’. A verb of speaking following the etymological approach with lele/i- ‘speech’ appears more likely, although it cannot be verified until the context becomes clearer.
