‘pertaining to a statue’1.1.1Transmission
This lexeme is found in various grave inscriptions as well as on the inscribed pillar of Xanthos dated contextually to shortly after the ascension of Artaxerxes II in 405-404 BCE and stylistically around 400 BCE (Borchhardt & Eichner 1997-1999a:19f.).

1.1.3Meaning
Meriggi 1937a:514 suggests that Lycian B tu[k]adrala is a derivative of the noun found in Lycian A tukedre/i- ‘statue’ and thus translates ‘statuary’ (followed by DLL:132). This is made plausible by the fact that tukadrala modifies something in relation to Gergis (gen. adj. nom./acc. pl. n. xerigasa), whose representation as a statue sat on top of the grave chamber supported by the pillar of the inscription (Borchhardt & Eichner 1997-1999a:47).
