1.1.3Graphic Features
Checked against the photograph in the Konkordanz (Mainzer Fotoarchiv). A reading -t]a? is also possible; cf. under Meaning. Taking into account the morphology of the word, it is fair to assume that it begins with the sign š]a- (if not t]a-).

1.1.4Meaning
The word šakarni is followed by a clitic chain, i.e. =ku, =mi and probably =pa. The morphology in -rn- recalls a similar types of formation known in Hittite and Luwian, e.g. Hitt. watarnaḫḫ-(ḫi), CLuw. pizzarna-, HLuw. /zam(m)arni?/, CLuw. ḫatarni-(ti) (see Sasseville 2021a:149). If the first sign of the word is indeed ša-, it would be tempting to connect it to Hitt. šakkar/n- ´excrement´, though with lenition between unaccented syllable. Unfortunately, the obscurity of the context does not allow us to verify this hypothesis.
