1.1.3.1Phonological Interpretation
The phonological interpretation of this verb is largely unclear. While the use of the logogram PES2 (sign *93) strongly suggests a link with the motion verbs, the present word resembles none of the syllabically attested verbs.
[AH.B.]
1.1.4Meaning
The word occurs in a rather damaged section of the inscription at MARAŞ 1, §9, with both the preceding and the following clauses only partly preserved. An interpretation is therefore not possible at this time, although a meaning from the domain of motion appears likely because of the use of the logogram PES2.
[AH.B.]
1.1.5Stem
The spelling of the verb suggests that it belongs to one of the stems containing /i/, but it cannot be said with certainty which. Possible stem classes are /-i-(ti)/, /-(a)i-(di)/, or /-i(ya)-(di)/, cf. Sasseville 2021a:131f., 218f., 319f.
