1.1.4Meaning
Melchert (CLL:275) lists the forms in the notes under Luw. zalla- ‘speed, quickness’, which is in the present dictionary found under zalla- ‘speed, movement’ in Hittite transmission. The lexical assignment may be correct, since the verb form idu ‘let him go’ is mentioned in the same line at KBo 7.66 ii 6’. Nevertheless, it is far from assured.
