1.1.2Forms
| nom./acc. sg. | kašnod | LW 11.3 (Sardis) |
Gusmani 1964a:145 treats it as a verbal form of the 3sg. pres. act. in -no-(d) (followed by Gérard 2005a:110), which would be formally possible, except that the finite verb of the sentence must be arsτãnšrs ‘they …-ed’ (not yet identified as a finite verbal form at the time). Therefore, kašnod is taken as a nominal form in the nom./acc. sg. n. agreeing with the particle =ad (Sasseville 2021a:463).

1.1.3Meaning
No meaning has been assigned (Gusmani 1964a:145). Considering that -no- is a nominal suffix, the root is likely to be kaš- and thus might be comparable to the one of Pal. gašāri ‘?’.
