1.1.3Meaning ‘having buildings (vel sim.)’
This lexeme m̃mẽt(i)- is a derivative in -nt- from the base m̃me/i- ‘building’ (Meriggi 1978c:247, DLL:42). Melchert (DLL:42f.) argues for a possessive nt-stem, which is supported from the context in TL 65.18, where the adjective m͂mẽti modifies teteri ‘town, city’.
[D.S.]
1.1.4Stem
The adjective m̃mẽt(i)- ‘having building’ (vel sim.) is derived from the base m̃me/i- ‘building’ with the possessive suffix -nt(i)- (DLL:42f.): m̃m-e- + -nt(i)-.
[D.S.]
For the base of the derivative see Lyc. A m̃me/i-.
