†ntros

Schürr 1998a:158 suggested that ntros of E.xx 7 would mean ‘priest’ (which was extended by Melchert 2002b:309f. to ntro of C.xx 1, but see below) as a derivative in -o from the Carian name of Apollo. However, ntros is a genitival adjective form of the theonym, i.e. ‘of Ntro’ (Melchert 2010f:183 contra [8821]Adiego 2019a:35), for more discussion see s.v. prŋidas.
