| dat./loc. pl. | ]upeẓịde | TL 58.3 (Antiphellos) |
Instead of a plural form, it could be a case of a rare locative singular in -e, see Carruba 1977a:301 and Neumann 2007a:405. However, this is not quite supported by the other nouns in -id-, whose dative/locative singular ends in -i; cf. mahanahidi, tubehidi.

For a recent edition of the inscription, see Christiansen 2020a:236. It is worth pointing out that the word may not be complete at the beginning.

1.1.4Meaning
Christiansen 2020a:236 n. 288 takes upezide as a personal name, designating the person who will be laid to rest where Sbelimi, the tomb owner, and his wife lie. Differently, one could take upezide as the referent of the relative pronoun =tdi, i.e. ‘[ …] (in) the upezide, within which he/she/it stands, where Sbelimi and his wife lie’. However, any interpretation must remain tentative until more evidence emerges. No meaning has been suggested by Melchert (DLL:77), Neumann 2007a:405 and Gehrisch 2018a:114.
