dat./loc. pl. (?) meipẹ̃me TL 149.17 (Rhodiapolis)

Carruba 1969b:83f. suggests dividing meipẽme into mei=p(e) ẽme, recovering a unitary particle mei and the possessive pronoun ẽmi(je)-, which is however unlikely, since it is expected to be *ẽmije. Besides, the introductory particle chain following that assumed beginning, viz. se=pijaxa, would be very unusual, unless se=pijaxa belongs to the end of the last clause, requiring two verbs coordinated by se ‘and’. The analysis as an adjective or participle in -me/i- in the dative plural, which a priori looks more convincing, follows Meriggi 1936b:268 n. 3 (and Meriggi 1978c:257). DLL:39 leaves it open (likewise Gehrisch 2018a:169, Christiansen 2020a:226). The apparent problem with the interpretation as a unitary word is the diphthong -ei- in what appears to be the root, because that should not have survived (but cf. ddeipñt(i)-). It is also possible that we are dealing with a carving mistake, but without a second attestation, it is not possible to emend.
