†rem(a)r

The segmentation of the personal names tobVn2remar (S9, 6) as tobVn2-remar by Pérez Orozco 2007a:128 (followed by Zinko 2016a:368 and Zinko & Zinko 2019a:429) and i̤śtorẹmr (S11, 1) as iśto remr by Zinko & Zinko 2016a:379–38, Zinko & Zinko 2019a:429f. led to the assumption of a Sidetic word *rem(a)r. However, as Simon 2019g:386f. argues, this form is phonologically problematic and there is no supporting evidence for its existence in any Anatolian language, especially since the name element -ρυμαρ / -ρυμερ quoted by Pérez Orozco 2007a:128 (and followed by Zinko 2016a:368) does not exist. Furthermore, the alternative analysis of Nollé 2001a:644 of tobVn2remar as tobVn2re-mar leads to a phonologically regular word *mar with well-attested parallels (see s.v.), which can easily be applied to the case of iśtoremr , too (see s.v. and Simon 2019g:388).
