This lexeme is found in a metrical inscription from Sardis that cannot be dated accurately.

1.1.3Meaning
The word atνãν appears to be coordinated with afaλaλ=k, which would support its grammatical interpretation as dative plural instead of genitive plural (Meriggi 1935a:104, Gusmani 1964a:70). Alternatively, Bossert 1944a:126 suggests that atνãν consists of ataν=νãν ‘our father’ (with syncope), however, one would not expect the enclitic possessive pronoun to be accented in this case. Further evidence is needed.
