1.1.2Forms

nom./acc. sg. n.(?) arṃird[ LW 44a.5 (Manisa)

Thus also Gusmani 1964a:61, if the word is complete. In comparison with ciward and ward[ (LW 62.2, see Euler & Sasseville 2019a:138), the word is likely to be complete and represent a syncopated form of the stem-final *-rid, i.e. armir(i)- (see Sasseville 2017a:134). Furthermore, Gusmani points out that the preceding word ciwad could agree with it. If ciwad represents the nom./acc. sg. n. form of a noun ciwa- n., this analysis would be correct. Differently, ciwad could be interpreted as a denominative in -a-(d); cf. under lemma.
