This lexeme is found in the inscription of the inscribed pillar of Xanthos, dated contextually to shortly after the ascension of Artaxerxes II in 405-404 BCE and stylistically to around 400 BCE (Borchhardt & Eichner 1997-1999a:19f.).

1.1.3Graphic Features
The word qñtra looks like kñtre and suitable emendations have been proposed (cf. DLL:127 with further literature, Gehrisch 2018a:96), but nothing can be securely emended based on the current state of research.

1.1.4Meaning
It is unclear which role qñtra plays in the sentence, but since masxxm̃ must be the direct object, qñtra could be the subject of the imperative verb ‘?’. Shevoroshkin 2012a:469 and Schürr 2018b:78 call attention to the Lycian A word qñtati, Lyc. B qñtile/i- and the personal name qñturahi (TL 59, N 320.10), which could be etymologically related.
