1.1.4Meaning
The meaning of xñta is not clear from the context (Hajnal 1995a:172 n. 227). It appears after the acc. pl. tamas ‘houses, buildings’ just like the action noun xñtatas two lines earlier. It is found in two compounds, i.e. kehixñta- ‘?’ and tllaxñta- ‘payment standard’, and it likely serves as derivational base for the verb xñta-(ti). Despite these connections, it is not possible to give the simplex xñta a specific meaning in its context (DLL:83, Neumann 2007a:126).
