1.1.3.1Phonological Interpretation
Only the ending of the present lexeme can receive a phonological interpretation, because the form of the 1. sg. pret. act. ending is well known from other verbs. The underlying phonology of the stem and even more so the root remain obscure.
[AH.B.]
1.1.4Meaning
The lexeme appears in a partly broken context and constitutes the latter of the two words surviving of the clause, the former appearing to be a form of the verb /asa-(i)/ ‘to sit, dwell’ whose ending is likewise destroyed.
[AH.B.]
