| part. nom. pl. c. | za-ra-a-i-mi-i[n-zi] | KBo 13.264, 9’ | (CTH 763, NS) |
The form provisionally restored as nom. pl. c. following Sasseville 2021a:95 (contra Torri & Barsacchi 2018a:299), who points to the agreement with the pronoun /-ada/. The analysis of the passage (-)]a-da, however, is by no means assured.

1.1.4Meaning ‘to move, sway, wave, undulate (?)’
The context does not provide any clue as to the meaning of the word. It can only be speculated that zarā(i)- is the unreduplicated base of zazzarā(i)- (see under Lemma), as suggested by Sasseville 2021a:95f., and also means ‘to move, sway, wave, undulate’.
[E.R.]
1.1.5Stem
If zarāima/i- is indeed the participle of the base word of zazzarā(i)- (see under Meaning), then a stem zarā(i)-(di) belonging to the same class is likely (rather than a stem zar(a)i-(di)).
[E.R.]
For the lemma head see Luw. *zar-.
