acc. pl. xabadranạṣ TL 76.3-4 (Tyberissos)

1.1.3Meaning

The word xabadrana- is found within a fragmentary context, which hinders any semantic assignment (DLL:80, Neumann 2007a:108). Shevoroshkin 2012a:472 mentions the possibility of relating the root xab- to the Luwian root for ‘to bind’, i.e. ḫap-, followed by an abstract suffix -adr- (= Hitt. -ātar, likewise Neumann ibid.), which is possible, but does not yield any further conclusions.
