1.1.4Meaning
No meaning is assigned to of (
)zuzun(n)i-(ti) in earlier publications (DLL:116, Tischler 2008a:209, CLL:285, HEG:Z 783, Otten 1971b:16, Ünal 2007a:829), as the contexts do not supply any clues. However, the relationship with its base verb /zunni-(ti)/ a tentative interpretation as ‘to make alright, rectify’ has been suggested (see
zunni-(ti) under Meaning). If this is correct, a similar meaning can also be assumed for the reduplicated verb as given here.

1.1.5Origin
As its Luwian base verb
zunnima/i, the reduplicated verb
zuzun(n)i-(ti) is clearly of Luwian origin.
