| 3sg. impv. act. | za-a-du-ud-du | KUB 35.70 ii 3 | (CTH 762, NS) |
za-tu-x-x in KBo 13.260 iii16’, which is considered in Melchert 1993g:282, does not belong here, but is to be read as za-at-ti, the dat./loc. sg. of zā-/zī- (see under Lemma).

1.1.3Meaning
The fragmentary context does not allow for any conclusion regarding the meaning of the word. Accordingly Laroche 1959a:114 and Melchert 1993g:282 do not make an attempt at a translation.

1.1.4Stem
The phonological shape of the verb is unusual and may indicate that it is either a root enlarged by the suffix -u- (Otten 1953a:71) or a compound, but neither solution can be supported through etymological considerations.
