nom. sg. or pl. c. mi-ia-li-ik-še-eš KUB 35.163 iii 18 (CTH 753, NS)

The use of the sign - does not exclude a singular ending of an i-stem; cf. under purtaḫi- and wašuniki-.

[D.S.]

1.1.3Graphic Features

Checked against the photograph in the Konkordanz (Mainzer Fotoarchiv).

1.1.4Meaning

Due to the fragmentary state of the context and the lack of cognates, no semantic assignment can be offered; cf. Carruba 1970a:64. A possible etymological link to the verb *mai-/-iya-(i) ‘to grow’ is possible, but hardly provable based on the current state of the passage.
