The alleged gloss wedge marked word †
a-ra-a[m(-) occurs in KUB 40.91 iii 2’, a NS deposition (CTH 294). It has been checked against the photographs in the Mainzer Fotoarchiv. – The reading as listed under Forms is suggested by Werner 1967a:30 (followed by HW 2nd ed. A:248). Collation of the photograph shows that the two wedges are imprinted over a vertical wedge giving the impression that they are used to cross out the vertical wedge. Accordingly, we are not dealing with a gloss wedge word.
