The different loci of the plene spelling in the two attestations make it impossible to determine where the regular plene spelling in the word is located.

1.1.4Meaning

If the restoration of the demonstrative pronoun as suggested by Sasseville 2021b:177 is correct, pītann(i)- refers to something concrete, perhaps even to people. One should also compare Lyc. A pidenezẽ, which seems to contain the exact same base *piden(i)-. No precise semantics are offered here.
