The attestations follow Adiego 1994a:43. Checking was not possible as none of these inscriptions are known from photographs. The acephalic “[…]δiurt” segmented by Adiego 2007a:437, 454 in C.Ka 2, 10 might also provide a further compound with *urt, but neither its segmentation (for alternative views see Frei & Marek 2000a:111 with refs.) nor its meaning is known.

1.1.3Meaning ‘big, great ??’
Due to its context, šenurt is clearly a personal name and might appear in Greek transmission as Σανο(υ)ρτος (Adiego 1993b:236, Adiego 2007a:419 [but see Adiego 1994a:43 on the problems of the Greek form]). The same applies to urt (cautiously Adiego 2007a:431, but it is followed by a personal name in genitive, kwriś, see s.v.), which implies that šenurt is a compound name. An analysis was provided only by Neumann 2007a:408, who very cautiously compared it with Lycian B urttuwa- (with two question marks). This is a formally fitting comparison, but the meaning of urttuwa- is unfortunately unclear (see the detailed discussion with refs. s.v.): a possible proposal is ‘big, great’, which could obviously underlie personal names and thus, it may be the case here, too.
