The fragmentary context does not contribute to the elucidation of the meaning (cf. DLL:25, CLL:9, HHw:13). However, a base allat(i)- ‘distance’ is posited for Ištanuwa Luwian (see under allatima-), and it could be identical with the present lemma, since the existing context also does not contradict the suggestion.
