1.1.2Forms
| 3sg. pret. ind. act. | ḫar-ra-ú-i-ia-ta | KUB 25.37 ii 28 | (CTH 771, NS) |
The split of ḫar-ra-ú-i-ia-ta into a noun ḫarrau- and iyata considered by DLL:42 and Weitenberg 1984a:295 has no foundation, since there is no space between the two parts.

1.1.4Meaning
No meaning was assigned to the verb in DLL:42, CLL:58, HHw:42, but following CLL:62, pātaš ‘foot’ immediately preceding ḫarrawiya- must be the subject of the clause. Therefore, Yakubovich 2017d thinks of the most characteristic action of feet, i.e. ‘to tread (?)’, as a possible translation of the verb, which is provisionally accepted here.

1.1.5Stem
With only one form attested, a 3sg. pret. act. form in -iyata, which could also show a defective spelling of the ending -tta, an unambiguous identification of the underlying stem is impossible. A factitive verb in -a-(ti) based on an -iya- noun or -i(ya)- adjective (thus probably CLL:58), or a denominative verb in -iya-(i). Finally, if *ḫarraw- could be shown to reflect a neo-root (like *tarraw- in tarrawa-(ti)), a deradical formation would be another option.
