1.1.3Graphic Features
Checked against the photographs in the Mainzer Fotoarchiv. Judging by the space left after the sign <am>, only a single sign can be missing in the lacuna.

1.1.4Meaning
Melchert (CLL:247) cautiously considers the underlying verbal stem uši- a match of HLuw. /usi-/, which can perhaps be interpreted as ‘to supply’, but this remains highly speculative and unsupported by any contextual clue. Accordingly, no translation is offered in DLL:103, CLL:247, and HHw:188.

1.1.5Stem
While Starke 1990a:377 n. 1361 suspects a neuter -m(ma)n- stem, DLL:103 and CLL:247 posit a participle in -mma/i-. The underlying verb could end in -i(ya)-(i) or -i(ya)-(di).
