1.1.3Meaning ‘(unknown)’
Adiego 2007a:430 cautiously suggested (with a question mark) that it may perhaps be only “a simple graphical variant” of uksi (see s.v.). This can be, however, excluded from a graphical point of view and from a phonological point of view there is no evidence for a k ~ q vacillation in Carian. Accordingly, the meaning of this word is currently unknown.
