1.1.4Meaning
The verb pādu takes as direct object the bull that has just been bound: ni-wa=an=ti pa-a-du ki-ig-ga-an-ti ‘One shall not padu him with the kigga.’ Although it is unclear who exactly the subject is and what the instrument kigganti refers to, we would expect for the verb pādu the meaning ‘to let go (?)’. This would be the logical action following the binding of the bull. Nonetheless, further evidence is needed.
