1.1.2Forms

nom. sg. c. a?-šu?-na?-mi-iš KBo 29.38 rev. 12’ (CTH 769, MS?)

1.1.3Graphic Features

Checked against the photographs in the Mainzer Fotoarchiv. – As indicated, the reading is far from assured.

[E.R.]

1.1.4Meaning

Given the fragmentary context and the doubtful reading, a semantic interpretation is impossible (CLL:38, HHw:28).

[E.R.]

1.1.5Stem

The word, whatever its root, constitutes the end of a clause, since it is followed by the sentence initial particle chain a=ada=dda. Therefore, it is most likely that the form in -miš is the nom. sg. of a participle in predicate function, or, less likely, an abstract noun in -m(i)-.
