1.1.4Meaning
The sole attestation of this lexeme is in a fragmentary context. Thus, there is no basis for assigning a specific meaning to aruwiliya-. The meaning may be related to the tentative derivational base aru- ‘high’, however (see Stem).
[O.B.]
1.1.5Stem
Morphologically, CLuw. aruwiliya- may have been formed with the suffix -i(ya)- to an unattested stem *aruwil(i)-, in turn formed to aru- ‘high’, but this is not possible to confirm on the basis of the attested material.
[O.B.]
For the derivational base see CLuw. aru-.
