1.1.3Graphic Features
Checked against the photographs in the Mainzer Fotoarchiv. – Starke 1985b:246 reads dạ-aš-da-a-u-i, which is possible but far from secured. Also the preceding ]-ịn and space are merely guesswork.

1.1.4Meaning
Due to the fragmentation of the tablet, no meaning assignment is possible, but see also under Stem.

1.1.5Stem
Melchert (in CLL:220) starts from Starke’s insecure reading and excludes a reduplicated stem based on *stā- (< *steh2-) because of its transitivity. However, not only the space but also the ending of the alleged direct object cannot be substantiated on the basis of what is left of the sign forms (see under Graphic Features). Therefore, such an analysis, however doubtful, remains possible. At least, the ending of the form in -āwi at the end of the paragraph and following lalāwi ‘I take’ in the preceding line permits a classification as a verb (DLL:95, HHw:s.v.).
